Went to tuition today and saw this pharse in my tutee's study room

"IF U STUDY TO REMEMBER, U'LL FORGET; IF U STUDY TO UNDERSTAND,U'LL REMEMBER!"

this phrase throws me into the valley of thoughts.

Have i been studying to remember all along?

But if i dun remember, how should i understand?

Is really pure understand gonna help in remembering?

Oh man, this phrase is indeed true, but is questionable!!!
